Last Saturday Lisa and Oliver invited us to join them in a 5k Jingle Bells for Arthritis race. We had a great time slipping and sliding on the centennial trail within the heart of Spokane. It only took us an hour. Afterwards we went back to Lisa and Oliver's house where Anthony had delicious omelets, potatoes, OJ and coffee waiting. What a fun winter adventure.
Thank You Ochs Family!

Tobin is growing so fast! He is around 17 pounds and has grown out of a few more outfits into some new ones. He now talks (baby talks) to some of his favorite toys and the picture of the sun hanging over his changing table. He is getting so much more vocal. He also loves to hear us laugh, sing, smile, whistle and play peak a boo with him. And he is so ticklish! He heartily laughs when we tickle his sides, back, feet and armpits.
These photos are of him in his bumbo chair. He is just now getting strong enough that he likes sitting up in a chair for many more minutes.
We all hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

I say "with a spoon" because my grandma Medeiros gave him his actual first bite of food - snuck him frosting on her finger while Dave and I were in the restroom - Grandma! Good thing you live in Hawaii.
He loved it. What he could keep in his mouth that is. He kept smooshing it out onto his chin. We read that he isn't quite ready for daily solid food yet because his "tongue thrust reflex is still active" but we are going to start giving him tastes of our food (one flavor at a time to check for allergies). We are taking our time.
