Tobin's getting closer and closer to crawling. Stay tuned!

I say "with a spoon" because my grandma Medeiros gave him his actual first bite of food - snuck him frosting on her finger while Dave and I were in the restroom - Grandma! Good thing you live in Hawaii.

He loved it. What he could keep in his mouth that is. He kept smooshing it out onto his chin. We read that he isn't quite ready for daily solid food yet because his "tongue thrust reflex is still active" but we are going to start giving him tastes of our food (one flavor at a time to check for allergies). We are taking our time.

Tobin likes his bath time now. He loves the warm water and looking at his floating and squirting toys. We like how much fun he is having now, how much easier it is to get him clean and how cute he looks in his little green frog towel.

Tobin is 4 months, 18 days now and he is eager to sit up. I was lucky enough to catch a few of his successful attempts.

He didn't even whimper with this first shot as he fell sideways and no, he does not have a rug burn on his face. The last two photos he was up for about 10 seconds each until he folded down to his feet.

We have Tobin's newest stats from the doctor: he is 27 inches tall, weighs 16.4 lbs and has a 16.5 inch head circumference. But what's so much more important, he is healthy and happy!

Tobin is 4 months old now - 17 weeks actually but who's counting! The last time I weighed him he was 16 pounds and he is quickly growing into his 6 month clothes and out of his cute 3-6 monthers. Remember, you can click on any of the photos and they will get larger. Our life is pretty much TOBIN, TOBIN, TOBIN so that is why you see so much of him.

He has learned so much these last few weeks. He seems so much more interested in his surroundings, he reaches for his toys and he stands! We hold onto his hands and he is able to hold himself up on his legs. We are so amazed.

His head is fully covered in hair and it is getting thicker every day. His eyes are still blue but they have a little brown in the middle. It was so much harder to take these photos this time because he moves constantly. We were able to catch a few smiles though.

Cori's side of the family came to visit this week. Grandpa (Cori's Dad) Ray came from Florida and stayed for a week, Great Grandma Medeiros came from Hawaii and Cori's cousin Ricci and her family came from Seattle for the weekend. We had a great time seeing Spokane and spending time together.
