Dial-up

Here he is, our little boy. Tobin is so amazing! He sits by himself all the time now - with an occasional face plant to keep us all on our toes. He can also get himself up like he is about to do a "girl" push-up. He pushes himself in a circle pretty good on his belly and he is reaching out to grab everything around him. And he is VERY vocal.

Tobin is 20 lbs now and we still need to measure his length. Our number is never what the doctor's is - not sure why?? but his next doctor appointment is not until next month so we will get the official word then.

A good portion of our day is spent eating, sleeping and playing. Most of it seems like we are feeding him - which doubles for playing (see video above). A future drummer maybe? We definitely would need a bigger house!

Tobin is learning all about how delicious and FUN eating solid food is. We are giving him a new food to try about every 4 days to make sure that he isn't allergic. He has tried what I knew as obvious first foods: bananas, peas, carrots, pears, green beans, oatmeal and rice cereal. The more "exotic" foods are cottage cheese, sweet potatoes and mangos. We are going to try apples, yogurt and mabye tofu soon. His most favorites are carrots and more carrots. The picture above is of his first try at cottage cheese. The one below is of him eating banana and oatmeal.

Tobin's eye at 7 mos 9 days

Tobin is so much FUN!!!! We laugh and play all day long - well that and eat, sleep, eat, sleep, and eat some more. His eyes are still a lovely blue with some brown in the middle. He is sitting for longer and longer periods of time. His back and belly are super ticklish and he loves people making funny faces. We LOVE having Tobin in our life!
